I am also a Telus user and exactly the same thing happened... mini frame cracked right at the mini usb port... Telus cant do anything for me because it<s a cosmetic problem, and they charge 125$ for the replacement of the phone...
I think this is a default of the phone itself, and would also like to get this fixed...
