i installed the one in the first post in that thread. it uninstalls sprint's pic mail, yes you do lose whatever you've received, but they're still on your pic mail on sprint's site, you can resend to your phone.
anywho, it uninstalls pic mail, like i said, and when you create a new msg, it gives you an option for sms, pic, vid. you can also change the size limit on how big of media to send. i've noticed that it works MUCH better than Sprint's pic mail (IMO). and all your mms' show up in the "sms" tab, not that mail tab. i didn't lose my gmail (only email i had set up on it).
Only other thing to get used to (for me atleast) is that when you DO recive an MMS, it shows nothing in the tab, you have to "click" it to see it. so basically it looks like a blank txt msg.
