I've used 3gp, super, and the xda hd/pro/diamond encoder. I'm no poweruser... but for me, the xda encoder worked best for mp4 with video out. The conversion was painfully slow though, and I've noticed noone has mentioned the aceconvert dvd to htc touch pro software. I used the free trial, and it took 17 mins to encode the same video that took a lil over an hour with the xda encoder. The encoded files are about the same size...but there is no video (just sound) with the aceconvert product. Oddly it works with TCPMP (poorly) but just does sound on wmp... Is there anything I can do? Here's the link to this promising software.
