If you're looking to browse/modify files in the windows directory, I'd suggest avoiding activesync. I typically use MyMobiler's Mobile Explorer utility. It will bring up my Windows directory in about 1-2 seconds. Also, some of the old USB mass storage programs like WM5torage would let you mount the onboard memory for faster access.
You say you use myMobiler's mobile explorer, but when I tried to use it, it wants to browse the folders on my pc, not my phone. How do i browse my phone's contents?
