I use RDC but also with
Hamachi. This free peer to peer VPN software let's you keep all your machines on the same virtual network over the internet. I have it running on all my computers at home as well as my TP. That way I can open RDC, just enter the computer name, username and password, and I'm in. No need to memorize your home's public IP address or forward ports on your router.
