There are no system tray icons on the Mogul/WM6 are you talking about the HTC home plug in? Go to start/settings/personal/today/items tab and uncheck the HTC home plug in. Some WM5 applications will put items in a system tray, most have a setting to remove system tray icons. If you do have a system tray is it coming from some application you have running?
