Hello all I am new to your forum here. I have done a search and I couldn't find anything so I will ask my question and apologize if it has been asked and answered before.

If I were to by the sprint version of the phone would it work on the alltel network. If the answer is yes, is there a way to flash the phone to get rid of all the sprint addons ( i.e. sprint tv, music store and so on) and could you possibly direct me to a guide if there is one

P.S. In case you are wondering why I want to do this, well there are a couple of reasons: 1.) I live in a divested area and Alltel is still its own entity, not been sold yet 2.) I want to keep on my dad's family share plan (I only pay around $18 a month compared to what I would pay for my own plan) 3.)There are no Alltel Touch Pro phones for sell on ebay
