This happened to me by accident, actually. Yes it works.

Random extra boxes started popping up, and I just went into the registry, and deleted all the keys above 18. All the extras disappeared.


EDIT: I shouldn't have assumed it worked... I just saw the extra icons, assumed they worked, decided I didn't like them, and deleted the registry keys. Sorry
