Thats why I said to UNCHECK it.
It's probably checked right now, and thats why its showing only the clock on all the other apps except Today. You can only show either the battery or the clock. Not both at the same time. And it seems like it's currently set to show the clock on all applications. So just follow my instructions CAREFULLY, and UNCHECK it.
Once you uncheck it, it'll take off the time when in other programs and replace it with the battery icon. -.-
