I installed the
vzw ics fix cab and when I recieve or send a text message it makes & keeps a data connection unless I explicitly go into conn manager.
Once I deleted the ICS fix induced program item, things went back to normal, I send or recieve a text a 1x briefly temporarily shows & thats it, back to previous state.
Its not a big issue, I have an unlimited plan but still the thought is annoying, I get frequent notifications by txt and a data connection IMO can mean extra unneeded battery drain not to mention if I didn't start it I don't want it happening automatically..
Any fixes on the fix or suggestions??? I allready made a mention on original post & not a peep yet.
