What does "Available RAM on boot" string do?

I was just glancing through my registry and noticed a string within "HKCU/Performance" called "Available RAM on boot". Mine's set to 20320256.

Anybody have any clue what this string does? I'd play with it, but I'm at work and not in the mood to be without a working phone before I can get home to reinstall all my stuff. Has anyone tried messing with this?
