What does your battery meter do?

I have the 1% battery, and I noticed everytime I pull it off the charge, I lose about 6-7% battery. It also seems that the battery dies faster off initial pull. When I go to charge it for a while in the day, even if I don't make a full charge, it seems to last a lot longer. I turned off my Exchange server, to auto pull and all my other things that I can find that were auto pulling I have manual now. Thus, making for somewhat of a longer battery. This is the only real issue I've noticed since I've done it, slowed down battery consumption upon doing that, but something still seems off about the battery. Anyone else having this issue or similar? Or do you think I have a faulty battery?
