I forgot to mention there is a free trial of the software so if someone has the needed adapter (or can make it) give it a try with a kb and mouse (touchscreen if you have one) and let me know how it worked out. So, I gave this a try and hate to say this isn't ready to work on the TP. I tried 2 KBs and 2 mice, both connected directly to the device and then through a powered hub. I believe this is due to the current config of the USB controller built into the TP. I'm pretty sure I remember reading, elsewhere in these forums, that the hardware should be capable but, the host function has been disabled. I hope this has helped save you some time.
