I had a program called
KeyCaps600 which worked beautifully on my Treo 600, 650, and 755p. You can configure it so if you hold down a key it will capitalize the letter or if you double click it acts like you pressed the option button. Or you can reverse the functionality. I find it annoying to have to press the shift and option buttons all the time. I'm wondering if there's a similar app that would work for the 6800.
