And will they be able to cahrge for this??
If i have learned anything from past carriers, my guess would be so. I experimented with my mogul about a year ago on sprint and i was charged 3 cents per kb. here it is from sprint
What is Phone as Modem?

"With the Phone as Modem add-on, your phone can be a high-speed Internet connection for your laptop or desktop computer anywhere on the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network. Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable or, if your Bluetooth profile supports this capability, connect wirelessly. With your Phone as Modem connection, you can use all of the features and functionality the Internet provides, including Web page browsing, online application usage, and file downloads, from your computer through the wireless data connection on your phone.
The Phone as Modem is available on select phones. To find out if you can use your phone as a modem, go to Can I use my phone as a modem?
Customers will be charged 3ยข/kb unless a Phone as Modem plan is selected."

good luck, if u add phone as a modem to ur service before ur billing cycle is up, you most likely wont be charged. Dont hold me to it, i was able to do it last year at the sprint store. Although i did a bit of begging, it work.
