Yes, I know that much, but I think the default is the GPS will use the assistance of the network to get GPS coordinates. This assisted GPS is good when you have service because it allows for more accurate location based services. That wouldn't be available when travelling in other countries so I was wondering if the there's a way to change the GPS coordinate grab to standalone only so it doesn't have to rely on a network.
