Well, folks.. after a bit of.. ah... social engineering, I got a Sprint sales manager (third-party) to forward me an email that he got today...

Flyers are hosted on my personal site since the forum won't allow .pdf attachments.

Many of you have been asking about the PPC 6800. As you know, it had been delayed. Initial delays were estimating early September launch. It appears we will now have the official launch in all channels mid-July (some corporate, govt channels will have available mid-June). This is good news. You should be seeing some new pricing on the PPC 6700 coming out shortly in order to clear out inventory.

Some quick notes on the PPC6800.

-Official name is Mogul

-EVDO rev 0 at launch but will be software upgradeable to rev A in Fall 07

-Internal antenna

-Thinner and more rounded than PPC6700

-2MP camera

-Will support JAVA

-GPS will not be available at launch but will be available for upgrade in Fall 07

-The primary reason for the initial delay was to include Windows Mobile 6. The Mogul will be our first device with WM6. WM6 is being positioned by Microsoft as robust as BES or Good server technology. . To learn more on WM6, here is a website to view:

www.Windowsmobiletraining.com

Here are some other flyers to review.

I will provide additional information as more details come my way. Regards,
