Look under "applications" for Windows Live (IM).

It's a seperate program that includes Live Mail (hotmail) and their IM program.

Do a back up before installation using Sprite 5.2 though you should be able to uninstall with no issues.

You then need to edit your Homescreen with this .xml code:
