This happened to me a while back. I finally tried to log in to my account through Google on my home PC, and it had a captcha screen (
http://www.captcha.net/). Once I entered the characters my home computer worked again. I did the same thing from PIE on my PPC and it started working again too.
Oddly, this only happened once and I've never had to enter the captcha again.
