I have an alltel 6800 and after a couple days of reading the forums and a few hacks, I'm in heaven. I just hope that alltel gets the updated rom back on line soon as I have the first wm6 alltel rom and can't wait for gps
I have a wonderful old plan that allows me to use minutes for data. Just to be on the safe side I added the $10 per month unlimited tethering package as I am going to get rid of my land line and dsl.
Does anyone know of any registry settings that could be changed so that the system dials in as though it is tethered any time it makes a data connection? I haven't been able to figure out how Alltel is able to tell if the phone is tethered or not. They don't appear to be using NAI like verizon and sprint are.
