I just got done d/l the 6.1 update from VZW website. I was talking to there tech support and he's telling me on the phone that VZW does not support 6.1 only 6.0 So he directs me to their webpage to d/l the latest update to see if it will fix my phone
http://support.vzw.com/phones/index.html?p=3411 I told him that thats EXACTLY what I d/l earlier from UTstarcom. When you hit to d/l it. It tells you where the software is coming from. I told him thats the exact same wording that I d/l earlier and he swears up n down that they don't support it. Well its on your website and Yes your supporting it because its THERE!. So w/o f&*^'ing around he quickly said that he's sending me a replacment phone. But I want this update to work. I will have to wait till tomorrow to contact UTstarcom since there already closed. I'm not sure what went wrong when I updated the phone but now it won't connect to the CPU I retried the update again and I tryed a hard reset and its stuck in the RGB color scheme and says USB in the white bar. I tried to remove the battery and still won't work. Can someone help me. My phone is totally useless...i might as well try some more things to get it back on.
