I'm a little confused about these 2 companies. I've had a few phones from UTStarCom, the PPC6700 and the SMT-5600. My latest phone is the PPC6900 from HTC. I believe my first 2 phones were manufactured by HTC but distributed by UTStarCom, and branded by them. Is this right? And now my PPC6900(Vogue), is now branded by HTC as well as distributed. Have they cut UTStarCom out of the mix?
