I'm not very familiar with how ROMS and kitchens work so can I install any 6.1 onto my 6700 which is flashed to cricket? or are they carrier specific?

I don't know all that much about Roms, But I did successfully upgrade my 6700 from WM5 to Helmi's WM6 on my own, just scares me a little reading the threads and seeing how many people are having problems with the install. IF anyone that is knowledegable in this please help me out. And if you can post a direct link to the file I need or give me a brief walkthrough that I can follow. I appreciate it. I am on Cricket.
