Bluetooth GPS pairing with 6700

When i switched to Sprint and bought the 6700 to replace the MDA, I found out that I cannot pair my bluetooth GPS to the phone.

Under the bluetooth settings, under COM ports, in my MDA, there used to be 2 options, "New incoming port" and 'New outgoing port". In order for the GPS to work, I had to create a new outgoing port and then everything would be good.

However with the 6700, its missing the "New outgoing port" option. I checked the Treo 700wx and it had the same issue. After speaking to a tech at a sprint store, he said i probably need a registry hack and it could be something sprint is disabling by default.

this is what i used to do:
turn on the GPS ofcourse
goto bluetooth settings
goto com ports
click on new outgoing ports
......

this phone is missing the "new outgoing ports" link.

it says clearly on that page: To connect to a device, tap New Outgoing Port. THERE IS NO OUTGOING PORT OPTION ANYMORE.

Any help on this matter will be highly appreciated!!!
