I have hotmail set up as pop on my today screen as well a comcast.

Whenever a hotmail email is reveived i get it almost right away.

With the comcast emails i have to manually send/receive to check if new messages have arrived. They don,t show up automatically like hotmail. I believe all of the settings are the same.
