Yeah, this is a symptom of the old style pim.vol being incompatible with WM 6.x. You will need to flash back to WM 5 and then ActiveSync or use a program like PIM Backup
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299705 to copy off your info. Flash to 6.x again and then restore by whatever method you backed them up.
