here's my thought of what i'd like to see in a phone:
a flat touchscreen: no bezel as previously posted
a qwerty keyboard but the phone should not be much thicker than the touch
built-in gps and rev a out of the box
something more innovative than the cube it's cool for all of 2 seconds but after that not very useful
improve the music store maybe with some sort of coverflow
256 megs storage
512 megs memory
bluetooth support
a 3 mega pixel(at least) with a flash
wi-fi
a better web browser with flash support
for a visual imagine the touch dual but instead of the keypad sliding up the keyboard would slide out to the side like the current mogul does.
I'm sure im leaving something out but this is a good start i love my touch but i would trade it in a heartbeat for something that resembles this and still maintain a comfortable size
