Thanks! I figured out how to do it with the stock file explorer... I had two different problems.

1. I wanted to browse, rather than use the "open path" function.

2. I had my wifi connection labeled as connect to internet... for whatever reason, when I switched it to work network, it allowed me to see the folders.

However, now I've got a new problem... I can't stream music and video through the network.. I can see the files, but i can't open them... is this normal?
