Thanks bb2ppc! If I were a moderator I would sticky this. It'd make it easier for newbies to get started if they could see everything they needed to know right at the top of the forum.

So the Kitchen is used to "cook" your own custom ROM with all the ingredients that you have a taste for. One question though - couldn't ingredients (more commonly known as programs) be added after you flash the ROM? Then that would make cooking the ROM more of a convenience (install everything at once as opposed to adding it all separately), right?
