Re: Two camera on the same device at the same time. 5_07_28987 & 4_05_29446

hey this worked out great.. excellent CAB package. thank you.
i'm really disappointed at how badly the camera sucks on this phone. my daughters Moto Krazr is considerably better in all aspects - color, sharpness, everything..

so i installed camera2.cab.. soft reset. perfect.. i like the interface better than the stock camera. seems much less cluttered and easier to use.
i'll post my comparison pics below. (edited for size....image_10 and 11 is stock, image001 and 0002 is Camera2)
I don't know if i can tell TOO much difference.. still a D- in my book, either way. if anything, camera2 seems to take the hazyness away, and tends to represent colors a TAD better.

(and yes, the Candela flashlight WILL turn off, just before the shutter releases)

yes, there is no flash. but here is the interesting thing, if anyone can comment.
you CAN run have both of these cameras in your program folder no problem. launch 'Camera', then close, then launch 'Camera2'.. each work independent of themselves.
BUT - if i run regular stock 'camera', it actualy removes the flash completely.. in otherwords, the on screen icon for the flash is just simply gone. all other control buttons are there, and where they should be (Focus, brightness, etc.. ), but the FLASH button is gone...
so i was kinda disappointed in that.. i know Camera2 is not flash capable, but i would have liked to keep it on my device to take regular day shots, and still have the option of using camera1, IF i need a flash..
so i un-installed camera2, did a soft reset, and viola - flash button is back on 'camera'..

so all in all, stupendous work crafting this cab, and ensuring it didn't rape my system when i installed it.. equally smooth in the un-install.
not sure which one i'll go with in the long run.. but for now, i'll keep camera2 uninstalled.
