I apologize but I did not see a Droid 4 forum and know that these are similar devices...anyway I have previously rooted my phone and with this recent update that Verizon is sending that I cannot get away without doing it and it will not work with my rooted device. In the past the updates have tried to install and couldn't and that was it, with this update every 12 hours I am getting a message to update the phone. Any advise on how to either keep it from asking the question or having it install on the phone without losing the fact that it is rooted?
