Okay I have read all the other threads on being able to root the acer tablet a500 but I keep hitting the same issue.

My tablet was the Targets Display Tablet, the one everyone got to play with. Well for some reason how ever they have the software on this tablet I can not do anything to it. I have downloaded the ginerbread break but I am unable to run it from the tablet says "cannot open file'' I have tried putting everything on a SD card and going that route. So far nothing has worked. Is there another way I can go about rooting this tablet or am I just SOL.
