Re: IPAQ 2210 pocket PDA

I think there are some cooked ROMs out there you could use but from what I've been told and read in most threads, the OS would severely drag the operation of the PDA down to a point of being unusable. I started off with a 2210/15 years ago and moved up to an Axim x51v. That unit had much better hardware in it than the iPAQ did and I was warned against doing it with that device. Your best option is to keep the WM2005SE OS and move on to a smartphone and possibly tether it with the phone if you wish to continue to use it. That's what I did for awhile with my Axim until I finally moved on to a TouchPro2 with WM6.5 and now on to WP7 with an Arrive.

You just have to figure that the 2210 is about 10 years old or older and just isn't up to par enough to run even an OS that's 5 years old. I know my 2215 ran noticably slower when I updated it to WM2005SE.
