Question Wi-fi LAN connect problem

Earthlink sent me a different router after my cat threw up a juicy hairball on it: it's a zyXEL P-600 series, and it connects to my Linksys WRT160N as a bridged PPoE.

It's a change that's eliminated my LAN access here at home.

With the Broadcom 802.11 adapter enabled in auto mode (not address defined connection) I see my home LAN listed, and even with re-entering the settings it won't connect to the Imagio.

Should I be trying another adapter? Is there a setting I've missed? I have tried entering assigned address settings to no avail.

I've researched this a fair bit to no success - and as I'm disabled, the Imagio is very important in more ways than I care to address. . .

I'd appreciate some help.
