Anyways, I tested this while rooting my friends DS7 because the other processes were a pain in the @$$... jejeje
***ROOT YOUR DELL STREAK 7 IN A 1-2-3***
A few notes before you start... (Tips to prepare your tablet for ROOT)
* Both
USB Debugging and
Unknown Sources must be
ON (Check marked)
Now for the FUN STUFF (The EASY AS 1-2-3 Part... jejeje)
1.)
Install the APK attached.
DOWNLOADING DIRECTLY FROM YOUR TAB IS OK!!!
2.)
Go to your Apps and launch GINGERBREAK IN PORTRAIT MODE
3.)
Select the option "ROOT DEVICE" and wait for ROOT to be installed on your device.
YOUR DEVICE WILL REBOOT UPON SUCCESSFUL ROOT.
There you go, easy as 1-2-3, Download, Install, Root... You cant get much easier than that...
NOW THAT YOU HAVE THAT DONE, GO AND DOWNLOAD THE ROM MANAGER AND INSTALL ClockWorkMod!!! AWESOME!!! 
(TO GET TO CLOCKWORKMOD, REBOOT AND PRESS PWR VOL + THEN SELECT OPTION 3, THE UPDATE.APK OPTION AND IT WILL TAKE YOU TO CWM) AND FLASH AWAY MY FRIEND... FLASH AWAY!!! JEJEJE
