I know it wasn't meant as a fix. Just thanking you for the time of reading the thread and responding.

Not sure why on the boot loop. Figure I will try Gingerbread Edition again.... My hubby got me this tablet purely so I could tinker with it. SO, figuring out the issues is part of the fun.
