Wm 6.5

I keep thinking the Arrive would be a perfect Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade from the TP2, while I wait to Windows Phone 7 to mature. I'm still holding out hope that the Mango update will include USB sync with Outlook, wifi tethering, landscape support, file system access, and the ability to ditch Zune software.

Has anyone given any thought to trying to install WM6.5 on the device? I'm not sure how one would go about doing that and ensuring access to the hardware functions or even being able to unlock the device for custom roms.

If this would work, then the only loss from the TP2 would be the lack of GSM global roaming, but it would be a gain in processor speed, a camera flash, capacitive touch screen, and dedicated camera button. It would also be a swap of miniUSB for microUSB cables but I'm not worried about that.
