Facebook Sync Experiencing Problems Error

I have the At&t Captivate, but it looks like this is an issue that could stretch across all Galaxy S phones. A quick Google search will bring up quite a few posts/threads on Samsung's Facebook page about it too.

I use the built-in SNS sync for Facebook, which is what Samsung uses under the default Android Account settings.

I've flashed a few ROMs, and at some point, my Facebook wouldn't sync my contacts anymore. I get the message "sync is currently experiencing problems. try again later".

The things I've tried:
-Flash back to stock & other ROMs
-Clear all cache data in CWM
-Delete SNS Account data under Application Settings
-Delete Samsung Mobile from my applications on Facebook
-Changing my Facebook password
-Tried logging in with someone else's Facebook account, same error with their's

The Android Facebook app loads up fine, but with Samsung, it doesn't sync contacts, it forces you to use SNS for that.

Any other suggestions?
