[HOW TO] Reset Droid X to Factory Settings
WARNING: THIS WILL DELETE EVERYTHING ON YOUR PHONE!

To complete a Factory Data Reset:

From any homescreen of your phone, tap the Menu hard key.
Tap Settings.
Scroll down and tap Privacy.
Scroll down and tap Factory Data Reset.
Tap Reset Phone, confirm to execute.


Normally this is only needed when there are significant problems you can't fix on your device.
