Well, sounds like it is in disk drive mode. I would say open activesync and disable disk drive mode so it will sync with activesync. But if the screen doesn't work....hmm.
When it is turned on and you connect it to your pc does the usb to pc popup show on the screen?

You could also try to use mymobiler instead of EveryWAN. Maybe it would be easier.
