Re: How to shut off spelling/word suggestions
It sounds like you might have the XT9 mode enable. Above the 'shift' key, there should be a key that shows XT9 in the upper half and ABC in the lower half. If the XT9 part is green then press that key and it should make the ABC portion of the key green and then it should turn off the word suggestions.
