Re: tp2 getting stuck on bootloader when trying to go back to stock rom

Basically I am trying to go back to stock rom so I can bring my tp2 to the vzw store and maybe get a replacement, since the phone doesn't want to take charge from the wall outlet anymore unless it is turned off. It also thinks the headphones are plugged in when they are not (and only puts audio through the headphone jack as a result).

So I get the phone connected with Activesync, enter either MR1 or MR2 install (have tried both). After I go through all the prompts the phone goes in to bootloader and hangs. Interesting part is that my PC hangs as well (can't move mouse or do anything). It will stay this way forever until I unplug the USB, then the computer will come back to life but the phone remains in bootloader (but does display Serial message once unplugged).

Right now I have a recent version of Energy cookie monster on there, and I have hard reset it a few times.

Please help I just want to get stock rom on this sucker so I can take it in!

thanks in advance

I recommend you flash the Verizon shipped rom from your SDcard. Here is a guide:

I suspect you have a bad usb connector on your device. There might be a pin missing or bent.
Good Luck!
