I want to log all of my assignments for school, but I can't find a program for Assignments or anything like that. So I figured I could add them all as tasks, and it will show on my today screen as the amount of assignments I have to do.

But, when I assign a task a category (class name, eg. Finance, Economics, etc..), it doesn't show up as the category in the task list. It just shows the subject name, and if you click on the task you can then see the category. I suppose I could just add the category to the subject name.. but is there any way to add the category name to the entry on the list?

If I add all my homework assignments to the appointment list on the calendar, it takes up so much room on the today screen, so it's not really worth it to me.

Does anyone have any other ideas as to programs that would work for what I'm trying to do, or know what I can do about the Tasks problem?
