Yeah, I've shot HD (720P) video. It's fine. No zoom, obviously, and the mic isn't good past 20', so great for video of people doing stupid things in well lit settings, or video of your dog, or whatever.

Still easily topped by a $150 HD digital camcorder - but since you always have it with you, you're more likely to use it.
