lithium ion batterys don't exhibit a "memory" like other types of batteries. You can run the risk of destroying the battery chemistry if you run it below a certain point.

I have run my down to about 5%, which is probably close to the limit. If you calibrate battery left until the phone says to plug it in you should have an accurate picture of you day to day use.
