THanks I put in the 6 digit code they gave me and it worked.
In case anyone else happens to be in this situation - there are different views for the configuration screen - one shows your msid and you need to change views to see your MDN
Also afterwards on sprint I needed to -
In Settings on the Personal tab, click Phone.
In Phone Settings, click on the Services tab.
Scroll to Internet, then click Get Settings.
To update Data Profile Click Start - it will go back to the start screen - just click OK
