I think that Microsoft should do their best to have games on Windows Phone 7 that tie-in to existing Xbox 360 games or Games for Windows to allow you to earn or accomplish something in the console or PC game or earn Xbox Live avatar items or similar items or even unlock features in the console game. It might just be more like a series of minigames depending on the type of game. For example, for Halo you might be able to customize your in-game character whereas for slower paced games that might work better on a phone, you might have much more interaction more related to the game. Imagine being able to give your kid something to do in a grocery store or in the car to occupy them - maybe they could get their pet from
Kinectimals and care for it, advancing their progress in the game. I know that Microsoft is pushing to make WP7 a player in the mobile gaming industry and I know that it would certainly drive sales of WP7 devices if they could motivate gamers to buy them if they could earn things in Xbox 360 games exclusively by having a Windows Phone 7 device and the Windows Phone Tie-in game.
