Great write up. I find it funny that Apple is getting all this news coverage for the iPhone 4 release on both national and local news. They're showing all the lines @ the Apple Stores, talking about the 600,000 pre-orders (a lot of which are being cancelled by Apple from what I hear) - yet the EVO had the biggest release Sprint has ever seen (or at least the biggest in a very long time), had long lines forming outside Sprint stores, etc, and not a peep on any MSM outlets that I know of... Just goes to show how Apple feels the need to say "hey look at us!" and Sprint/HTC are perfectly content to fly in under the radar - I didn't even see TV commercials for the EVO until a couple of days after launch
