I am currently running advanced task killer (with auto kill: safe enabled) and set cpu (n1 settings seem to work just fine) running with on demand scaling. (scales between 245mhz to 998mhz.) My battery like is more than adequate, as I use it throughout the day tinkering and playing with it and I still have about 40% at the end of the day or so. Also I have GPS, 4G, Wifi, and BT off unless I need them. (also friend feed is off, and brightness set to 25% with a little widget I found on the market.) Hope this helps someone!
O yeah, I play with the phone more often than not so I am thinking this battery life is acceptable for most!
