Wink Problem Solved #1--Couldn't connect to wifi network

After an awful lot of struggle, I have managed to solve two intractable (for me at least) problems. In the spirit of sparing others my agony, I thought I'd post the solutions

The First Problem was that couldn't connect to a wifi networks. The little circle would just spin and spin. It developed that some program (probably wifi tethering) had set the IP Address of the device to 192.168.1.1. If (as is likely) the network already had a device with that address, it wouldn't let you on. The solution is to go to settings/connections/wifi/wireless networks/network adaptors (at the top),Broadcom 802.11 DHD Network adapter (for the Pro2) and select the use server assigned address choice.
